Alzheimer’s Memory Walk
I would like to take a moment to discuss something that is very dear to my heart. The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk will soon be resuming to benefit those touched by Alzheimer’s disease and raise funds for research and support. Over six hundred communities will be participating in the two to three mile walk in many different locations. My father was afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease and struggled through the end years of his life as did I and my mother in caring for him. My greatest fear is that I will also be afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease or someone else will have to go through the suffering that this disease causes.
