How to Kill Ants in the Front Yard

July 23, 2007 Home and House | Comments (1) FamilyHelpTree @ 5:53 pm

How to Kill Ants in the Front Yard:

1. Hire an exterminator
2. Make the exterminator come back for free when they don’t fix the problem
3. Locate ant nests by pounding ground with a broom stick
4. Spread ant bait around the nest (not on top of it as ants will ignore)
5. Spread ant repellant between the house and the nests
6. Pour boiling hot water on them
7. Grind up lemons including the peel and pour that on them

  1. Indications you may have an ant problem:

You may see an occasional ant but this does not necessarily mean you have an infestation as one ant may be a scout looking for food. However, continuous or numerous ants are signs of nesting. Sawdust: You may see small piles of finely-shredded sawdust.

Sounds: You may hear a rustling or tapping noise produced when disturbed ants excavate wood.
