She got her cast off a little over a week ago, and there was a terrible rash there. The doctor thought it might be a fungal infection and prescribed her some Nystatin. It seemed to help some, but it did not take it all the way away. Of course it is a weekend now and she ran out of cream and the rash is worsening with a vengeance. I will be taking her back to the doctor tomorrow. I believe the doctor was on to something with the whole fungal infection. I just believe the medication was not strong enough for her.
