  1. These symtoms are not true. One can be a drunk, and work everyday, party all night, get drunk and high before work, and then do it all the time.

  3. How do you know he is an Alcoholic? Because he stated that he can drink and go to work? i dont drink at all.. but i smoke marijuana almost everyday.. before and after work… and i work just fine… people who are addicted to something means they are using something they want to quit.. not using something which they have no intention in quitting… If whatever you such as drugs(alcohol included) gets in the way of your everyday life and you cannot function and you want to quit your bad habit, then it is Addiction… You sound like a bigot my friend..

  4. Esteban this is a typical point of view from someone who is looking to justify their actions. I can speak from personal experience that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that smoking marijuana causes you to be less motivated to work for your family whether that be in giving 100% effort in your job or in spending time with your family. Smoking marijuana every day is an addiction my friend but you are addicted to an action and addicted to selfishness whether or not the actual drug serves as an addiction for you or not. But that is not the issue here. The issue is alcoholism and I think many of your marijuana supporting friends would take issue with you comparing alcohol use to marijuana use as there is clear data of the physical and mental damages alcoholism causes. Drinking and driving is never a good idea. And I assume you drive to work….

  5. Drinking is a social thing, and it’s purpose is recreational. It is intended to promote relaxation and pleasure. If you are drinking before and during work, you’ve got a problem. As for those old theories about working or driving better when you’re high…grow up. You are the one who thinks your talents improve with your abuse. I also believe that people who continue to abuse any substance is selfish, especially when they see how it negatively affects them and their families.

  8. Jade and Chase….. you may just be an alcoholic. Hopefully you will find that getting drunk is unnecessary and adds no value to your life and does not help you as a person.
