Planning a Family Trip to Las Vegas
Planning a family trip to Las Vegas can be a challenge and a good amount of planning and research can make the difference between a fun weekend and a hectic and non relaxing one. I highly recommend booking a hotel room that has the kid’s bed rooms separated by an adjoining door which you can close if desired. Make sure to place a “Do not disturb” sign on the door knob and dead bolt both rooms each night for added security. If you have small children then I definitely recommend staying at the Mandalay bay so that you can have access to the wave pool and lazy river in the Mandalay Bay that is only open to hotel guests. The Mandalay bay also has the interesting although expensive fish aquarium available which the kids will love. I believe there is another hotel with a wave pool but it may be geared more towards adults. Another option is staying at Circus Circus to benefit from the free shows that happen frequently there. Another helpful tip is to always ask for a complementary checkout time later than usual for added convenience.
