Mysterious Allergic Rash on Young Children
Many people have told me about mysterious rashes on small children that are very red and sometimes with raised white bumps or blotches. These are usually caused by an allergic reaction but are often not effectively stopped by changing a child’s diet or by changing soaps or detergents. The effect of this rash can often last for several weeks and then clear itself up. If the child begins to be bothered by the rash or experiences difficulty breathing then administering a small single dose of children’s benadryl will often alleviate the symptoms. Please contact a doctor if the child has trouble breathing but otherwise the mysterious rash will often work itself out in a period of a few weeks.

One of my girls had this mysterious rash a couple years ago. She missed several weeks of school because nobody knew what it was! They couldn’t tell me what, why, how, or if it was contagious. It was horrible looking all over her face. Really bad. I was worried that she’d scar afterward but it cleared up without a problem.
