2. Do not make it easy to leave by sitting on the end
3. Sit by the band to distract them
4. Bring snacks
5. Bring books and puzzles (quiet games)

Or, you could NOT bring your child to church, and let the child grow up without getting a skewed world view, and let him or her learn about religion on their own terms, so they can choose the religion that makes the most sense to them (or choose no religion and become a well-balanced agnostic or atheist.)

    By letting your child come to their own decision, you show them that you trust them. It also forces them to eventually think about spirituality, instead of just gobbling up whatever’s being force-fed by the one religion they’re forcibly exposed to.

  2. Religion provides a source of hope and happiness not routed in financial success or material posessions. A parent who truely loves their child tries to help them and if they think that church will help them then they will take them to church.
