Pancake Breakfast at Church

March 30, 2008 Family and Parenting | Comments (0) FamilyHelpTree @ 10:43 pm

One of my favorite events at my church is the Pancake Breakfast. This is a great opportunity to meet other familys. We mingle, have some good breakfast, let our kids play, and enjoy each other’s company. What a great idea and a great way to meet new people.

John and Kate Plus 8

March 18, 2008 Family and Parenting | Comments (0) FamilyHelpTree @ 4:32 am

Lately I have been watching John and Kate Plus 8. This show is crazy. The parents have twin girls and then have quintuplets. The show is the everyday life of this family of two parents and eight kids. It makes me appreciate the few number of kids I have and how far apart they are spaced. I would go crazy with 8 kids.

My Son’s Bedtime Routine

March 15, 2008 Family and Parenting | Comments (0) FamilyHelpTree @ 4:11 am

My Son’s Bedtime Routine

My Son’s Bedtime Routine is very sweet. We read 3 books, sing 3 songs, and then we snuggle. Sometimes he wants 4 books or 4 songs and sometimes we can shorten it to 2. We turn the lights down low and I put him into bed with a blanket and a small pillow. He is usually very good about going to sleep.
