Is Your Child 2 and Not Talking

July 30, 2007 Family and Parenting | Comments (8) FamilyHelpTree @ 4:34 pm

Is Your Child 2 and Not Talking? By the age of 2 years old a child should be talking….well….constantly. If your 2 year old barely talks there may not be a problem as some children just begin talking at their own age. This is particularly true with boys. However, there may be a problem. For example, my nephew had his ears clogged with wax and this was preventing him from hearing and learning to talk. There could be a problem with the child such as a learning dissability or other medical problem.

Try encouraging your child to talk and exposing them to both talkative children and quiet children.

How to decrease the amount of times a toddler falls while learning to walk

July 26, 2007 Family and Parenting | Comments (9) FamilyHelpTree @ 5:50 pm

How to decrease the amount of times a toddler falls while learning to walk:

1. Make sure the play area is clean so there is not anything to trip on including toys, blankets, rugs, and shoes
2. Anticipate the child tripping over uneven areas or when turning quickly or navigating smaller areas and act accordingly
3. Teach the child to place their hand on a wall or doorframe when going up and down steps. This can be done by example
4. Demonstrate to the child putting out your hands when falling to minimize injury
5. Discover if the child is more stable with shoes on or bare feet and act accordingly
6. Insure the childs shoes are the proper size and fit well

Many parents pull out their hair with frustration over their child continually getting hurt and have to get New York hair transplants. Relax and follow the above tips.

I first wanted to own my own restaurant and be the chef

July 24, 2007 Family Help Tree Rants | Comments (0) FamilyHelpTree @ 4:35 pm

When I was a young boy I first wanted to own my own restaurant and be the chef of the restaurant. I would cook and greet the people dining at my restaurant as they were seated and make a ton of money and be happy. Well that dream is not going to happen where I currently live so I am moving. The problem is that I have 3 different cars and no one to help me move so I am using an auto shipping service. This should make the whole process easier. My goal is to start a new restaurant in California. The idea behind the restaurant is that it would be a themed restaurant and the theme could be a deep subterranean cave. I have heard however that it can be very expensive to setup a restaurant and run it in the United States so now I am thinking my best chance of getting this restaurant is to set it up outside of the United States such as in Italy or France. But to do that I would need to hire some international movers to transport all my various equipment and tools. I simply cannot leave these things behind.
